About Foothills K9 Training LLC

Foothills K9 Training LLC operates from 2423 E Broadway Ave in Maryville. It carries a 4.9-star Google rating from 34 reviews.

What they publish

Three services are named with starting prices, which is more than most trainers publish: AKC Certifications at $50, One on One Classes starting at $300, and Canine Retreats starting at $2,700. The site names "Kami Lambert, Owner/K9 Coach", and states her specialties as small breeds, puppies, dog reactivity and basic obedience.

How the training runs

Their stated approach is relationship-based and aimed at both ends of the leash: "Our unique approach focuses on teaching both ends of the leash", with a mission "to create lasting bonds between dogs and their owners through relationship-based training that focuses on respect, patience, and balance". They say every program is tailored to the individual dog and owner, and that they work with everything from puppies to established behavioral challenges.

A caution on the site copy

The short blurbs sitting under the three service names on their homepage do not match the services they label – the one-to-one blurb talks about health and nutrition, and the retreat blurb talks about breed insights – so they read as unedited template text. Nothing has been drawn from them here. The service names, prices, owner and mission statement are taken from the pages where the site speaks for itself.
