Training

Training at freeDOGm uses positive reinforcement only, with no force and no punishment, through reward-based techniques, interactive games and real-world practice. Professional trainers build a custom plan for each dog, from puppy training to advanced obedience and behavior modification, and send video progress updates. Private lessons give one-on-one attention for anxious or reactive dogs and specific behavior problems. Every program begins with an evaluation.

Programs

The Board and Train Basic Obedience program is two weeks of training while the dog boards, covering sit, down, stay, heel, place and relaxed leash walking plus behavior modification. Owners train at the facility during the last three days, and on the final day the trainer visits the home. Basic obedience can also be done during daycare at least three times a week, or at home with behavior modification at least three times a week.
