Approach

Freedom K9 describes its training as balanced and tailored to each dog, combining structure, consistency and accountability with praise and positive reinforcement. Mental stimulation, consistent guidance and real-world reliability are priorities, and methods are adapted to each dog's temperament, learning style and energy level.

Programs

Clients choose Private Lessons or Board + Train. Dogs 4 months and up receive sit, stay, come, heel and place in every program. Common problems addressed include leash pulling, reactivity, aggression, jumping and hyperactivity, excessive barking, destructive chewing, boundary training, vehicle behavior and resource guarding, along with socialization, confidence building and impulse control.

What owners say

One client wrote that after working with Matt, her dog "walks nicely on a leash, comes when called, goes to place when asked, and listens to all family members (even the kids)."
