About Global K9 Protection Services

Who they are

Global K9 Protection Services is run by Courtney Robbins from a facility in Bon Aqua. The site credits her with "Over 25 years experience" and sets out a dated record: she "Completed K9 School for Dog Trainers at National K-9 Inc" in 2001, was "Certified as a pet therapy dog handler through the Delta Society" in 2002, and "served as a Patrol Explosives Detection Dog Handler as a Staff Sergeant with the C.T. Army National Guard." The site says she "would later earn the title of Certified Professional Dog Trainer, and serve as Director of Training for a national dog training organization."

Where they work

The address is published as "10950 Missionary Ridge rd. Bon Aqua, TN 37025, USA", and access is controlled: "We are an appointment only company, please make an account through our portal to schedule".

What they offer

The headline service is personal protection — "We are sought out worldwide for our highly trained and social family personal protection dogs." Around it the site lists "obedience training for any breed or age from puppy training to advanced off leash options, as well as behavior modification and sport training", plus "assistance with service dog training, police K9 procurement and training, and detection training."

Obedience is sold as all-inclusive academies with published prices. On Leash Obedience is $2,500 and is "an all inclusive 14-day program for dogs 4 months and older with no previous training". Off Leash Obedience is $4,200, "a 4 week program" for dogs six months and older that works "on distance, distraction, and duration." The Elite Dog Academy is $6,000, a six-week program "for those who want a extreme level of control in all environments" and the track the site points behavior cases and specialty work toward. A custom package is offered for "dogs who need specific behavioral modification such as anxiety, aggression, fear, or reactivity." Programs are said to come with equipment, follow-up lessons, and weekly pictures, videos and reports, and the site advertises a "FREE 30 minute dog evaluation and facility tour".

How they train

The site describes environmental control during puppy raising: "We control your puppy's living and training environment, and gradually introduce them to new sights, smells, textures, environments, people, animals and challenges."

Worth knowing

The business also breeds German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois and sells trained dogs, and runs a Bite Club — separate lines from the client training programs above.
