About Green River Retrievers – Summer Home

What they offer

Green River Retrievers is the summer home of a professional retriever trainer who has trained and competed with dogs for 33 years, with this base on Reservoir Road in Big Piney. The program trains and handles retrievers for AKC field trials, and its results pages list wins and qualifications in the Open, Qualifying and Derby stakes for dogs owned by its clients. The trainer's background also includes hunt tests, protection sport titles and detection dog work, and he builds a separate training plan for each dog.

Seasons and contact

The kennel trains in Big Piney during the summer and moves to a winter base for the rest of the year, so ask where your dog would train and when a spot opens. The kennel asks for inquiries by text message or email, and its stud dogs are listed on its site.
