About Gus Reagan Training LLC

Obedience training in Blair

Gus Reagan Training LLC (GRT) is a dog training business at 1044 S. 14th Ave in Blair. Its trainer, Drew, was born and raised in Blair and describes training as his calling rather than just a job. Drew has crafted his own training program that he says works for dogs big and small, young and old, and GRT describes its clients as part of the GRT family.

Programs and prices

Basic Obedience Training ($1,250) aims to turn a dog into a well-behaved companion. Advanced Obedience Training ($1,600) refines a dog's skills and works toward off-leash reliability. In-Home Training ($150) brings Drew to the owner's home to address skills a dog struggles with there, and an a la carte session ($30) teaches one key skill and shows the owner how to keep training at home.

Beyond training

GRT also offers dog sitting under Drew's roof ($40) and Gunner Kennel rentals ($15) for owners traveling with their dog, and sells treats, bandanas, training supplies and paw balm.

What to ask

Ask how long the basic and advanced programs run and whether the dog stays with Drew or trains through lessons.
