About Hiking Hounds of Bend
Real-world training in Bend
Hiking Hounds of Bend is a dog training and adventure business in Bend built on the idea that real-world training equals real-world results. It coaches owners as much as dogs, turning frustration into confidence through clear communication, structure and training in everyday settings.
Services
Private one-hour sessions meet wherever is most useful, such as home, a local dog park or a busy public setting, with the owner hands-on and supplying equipment and treats. Members-only group training combines obedience drills, socialization and structured pack walks around Bend in high-distraction areas and suits puppies. Two-hour adventure hikes include pick-up and drop-off, water, treats and a first aid kit. In the board and train, a dog lives and learns with trainer Lauren to build structure, confidence and reliable obedience at home and in public. Private walks are also offered.
What owners say
One client wrote that Lauren helped her German Shepherd and Great Pyrenees mix "become less reactive on leash", and that they now walk through busy places like the Old Mill.
