About Jessica’s Dog Training
What they offer
Jessica's Dog Training is run by Jessica Maxey from her home at 914 Twining Ave in Brighton. Board and train is her most popular program: your dog lives with her for 1, 2 or 3 weeks, joins her pack, and comes home with daily instructional videos and a one-on-one session at pickup. The levels build from foundation skills (sit, down, place, crate habits, leash manners) to confidence and door manners, and on to reliable recall and counter-surfing prevention. Day training is 4 hours of hands-on training and structured socialization, with dogs dropped off and picked up at her home. Private sessions come in 4-session packs: a Beginners Puppy Program covering potty training, crate introduction, puppy biting and first walks, and a Basics & Behavior Changes pack for obedience plus habits like leash pulling, door barking and jumping.
How they train
The site describes "proven dog psychology training" and a calm, structured home routine. It says she keeps board and train to a small number of dogs at a time, and the 2- and 3-week programs include remote collar training.
Good to know
The site says Jessica has 10+ years of experience, has trained full time since 2014, and completed a training course at the Dog Psychology Center in California; it also says she is bonded, insured and CPR certified. Sessions are held in Brighton and across Denver, Boulder, Westminster, Erie, Thornton and nearby areas.
