About K9Aholics Dog Training

K9Aholics is a Norfolk business – the published street address is 3422 Strathmore Ave, in the 23504 ZIP – though most of its marketing leads with Virginia Beach. It describes itself as "a professional dog training company located in Norfolk. We offer professional dog and puppy training in Virginia Beach and all surrounding areas."

The four programs

The navigation is the clearest statement of what is sold: board and train, puppy training, day training and behavior modification, with a rates page behind them. Each has a one-line description. Board and train promises that "Your furry companion will master obedience skills, socialize with other dogs, and return home well-behaved and ready to enjoy life with you." Puppy work is framed as foundation – "Set the foundation for a lifetime of good behavior, teaching your young companion essential skills, socialization, and obedience from an early age." Behavior modification is "Personalized solutions to address specific issues, helping your dog overcome challenges and become a well-adjusted, balanced companion." Day training gives "personalized instruction, helping them master essential commands to improve their behavior, socialization skills and increase overall confidence."

Range of cases taken

The intake statement is broad: "We can train most breeds, ages or behavioral issues from obedience training to aggression to crate training let our team of highly-skilled canine trainers help you transform your dog."

Two practical differentiators

Transport is offered, which is unusual and genuinely useful for a residential program: "Busy schedule? No problem, we can travel for both pick up and drop-offs for your dog." So is payment over time – the site states it has "partnered up with LendingUSA" to offer monthly payment financing for training costs.

A caution about the services page

One page on the site is worth ignoring entirely. The services page carries unedited template copy about monthly plans and results for small businesses, with a thirty-day money-back line attached – that is stock text left in from the site theme, not a description of dog training. The real program information sits in the navigation and the program pages. Ask who will train your dog and which body certified the team the site calls certified.
