About Transformational k9

Transformational K9 covers Hampton Roads from Norfolk and organizes itself into four programs plus boarding.

The programs

Puppy: "Our Puppy Training program is specially designed to set young dogs up for success from the very beginning. We focus on essential skills like house training, crate training, and basic commands such as sit, stay, and come." Obedience: "Our Obedience Training program focuses on teaching your dog essential commands and behaviors to ensure a well-mannered companion." The behavior lane names what it handles: "Our Behavioral Training program is designed to address and correct problematic behaviors in dogs, such as fear-based, anxiety, excessive barking, or leash reactivity." And the residential option: "Our Board and Train program is the ultimate immersive experience for your dog, providing expert training in a structured environment." Boarding runs alongside – "We provide professional dog training and boarding programs designed to meet every dog's needs-from early puppy development to advanced behavioral correction."

The approach

"Transformational K9 is a professional dog training business dedicated to helping dogs and their owners achieve real, lasting results. We focus on personalized training programs that are tailored to each dog's behavior, temperament, and individual needs." The mechanism given is relationship rather than technique: "Our training is built on trust and clear communication, helping correct behaviors while strengthening the bond between dogs and their owners." A positive reinforcement approach is listed among the stated principles, alongside core obedience and development and personalized training solutions.

How it frames the work

"Real transformation goes beyond sit and stay. We address the root of Behavioral challenges while celebrating your dog's unique personality, creating lasting change through proven training methods and genuine connection."

A note on what is not there

The site is written almost entirely in this register – transformation, potential, bonds – and carries very little concrete detail. There is no trainer name, no certification, no stated years of experience despite a heading promising them, no price, no program length and no street address beyond Norfolk. The program descriptions above are the most specific text on the site. Intake is a consultation, so plan to get the specifics there rather than from the page.
