About Klug K9 Training

What they offer

Klug K9 Training provides dog training in Cowlitz County from a base on Banner Road in Castle Rock. Training is built around clear communication, strong foundations and the individual dog, with skills challenged step by step through more duration, distraction and real-world settings.

Training options

Private training is one-on-one work tailored to the owner's goals. Group classes let dog and handler teams build skills alongside others in classes designed for continued progression. Board and train programs give the dog focused, consistent training, with skills the owner continues at home. Current clients can join structured pack walks to practice real-world skills and can book short-term boarding with someone who already knows the dog.

About the trainer

The trainer has worked across shelter and rescue work, veterinary care, grooming, companion training, dog sports and working dogs, and now trains a Search and Rescue K9. The approach is balanced: rewarding the behaviors wanted and using fair pressure and corrections when needed, adjusted to each dog and handler.
