About Koda’s Canine Academy LLC

What they offer

Koda's Canine Academy is a training company founded in March 2024 with trainers in several states; its Maine trainers work in person from Solon and virtually. Its trainers are CPDT certified and use a balanced philosophy, treating every dog as an individual.

Services in Maine

In-person private lessons cover basic obedience, house manners, more advanced behavior issues, socialization and exposure on outings. Day sessions keep the dog one-on-one with a trainer all day, followed by a turnover lesson and a written plan. Board and train is offered for dogs with major behavior issues or owners who want a hands-off start, and ends with one-on-one training for the owner. The Solon trainers also run group classes and house calls, and virtual lessons are available for anyone.

Specialties

The Solon trainers list obedience, behavior modification, reactivity and shelter dog rehabilitation, and the company offers adoption discounts and foster classes for rescue partners.
