Loyal Leashes was started in 2014 by a certified professional dog trainer based in Litchfield who supports families through difficult behavior cases and crisis moments. The approach is positive and force-free, focused on helping dogs feel safe enough to learn and helping families feel supported.

Behavior and crisis consults

A short triage phone call, usually scheduled within 48 hours, helps owners weigh hard decisions about a struggling dog. The full behavior and crisis consultation is a two-hour in-person session in the client's home, typically within a few days, that looks at the root of the behavior and builds a safety plan where the problems happen, then sets out next steps.

Other services

Enrichment and skill-building visits add play and learning tailored to the dog's needs, and companion and support care offers extra help when owners need it most. The main service area runs between Augusta and Brunswick, travel elsewhere is possible, and virtual sessions are available on request.
