About Magic of Paws

What they offer

Magic of Paws is a pet care business on a 20-acre property in North Yarmouth, with boarding and daycare at its retreat and in-home visits for pets that are happier in their own space. Alongside the care services it runs training programs led by a professional dog trainer who specializes in anxious and troubled pets.

Training

Training starts with an assessment: owners fill out a training assessment that includes a short video of the pet's behavior, and the trainer then builds a tailored plan with the owner. The business describes its training as science-based and fear-free, aimed at building confidence rather than only teaching cues, and covering puppy development through to dogs with severe anxiety.

Other services

The retreat offers boarding with quiet areas for dogs, cats and small animals, plus daycare, and staff also make in-home visits.
