About Meadowbrooke Kennels

Meadowbrooke Kennels is a boarding, training and grooming business on 16 acres at 1811 Holston River Rd in Knoxville. It carries a 4.8-star Google rating from 115 reviews.

What they publish

The training side is split into named options. Boarding + Training covers "Boarding School", described as their popular two-week program, available as a split session, and "Training Days", one or more training sessions taken during a boarding stay. Standalone training is offered as Group Classes, Buffet Style Classes, or a private training session, and a training calendar is published on the site. Boarding, day boarding and grooming complete the service list, and a pricing page is published.

The operation

They describe themselves as "the country dog place near downtown Knoxville" with "over 25 years experience, a dog-loving staff and 16 beautiful acres", and the site notes a 30th anniversary and a "Since 1997" line. Training enquiries go to a separate email address and phone extension from boarding and grooming, which suggests a distinct training desk rather than an add-on.

Practicalities

Published hours are every day 9-1 and 4-6, Sundays 4-6 only. New clients complete three forms – owner information, dog information and vaccination records – before any service, and up-to-date veterinary records are required for every dog on site.

Who it suits

Owners who want group classes with a published calendar, or training folded into a boarding stay rather than booked as separate appointments.
