About MLK9 Dog Training

MLK9 Dog Training works from 526 Mel Hall Rd in Maryville and markets across Knoxville. It carries a 5-star Google rating from 127 reviews.

Who runs it

The site names head trainer Mike Lilley and states the business was "established in 2020". His published background is "10+ years of experience training farm and working dogs, Police K9s, and thousands of pet dogs in between", and the site describes him as "a trusted instructor for many K9 agencies across the United States" who has worked with multiple police K9 agencies.

What they publish

The program menu is Board and Train, Puppy Training, Behavior Modification, Dog Boarding, Day Training and Group Training, with personal protection also named in the services paragraph. A rates page and financing are both published on the site, which is unusual and worth using.

How the training runs

Their stated approach is that "every training package is customized based on your needs and goals to build a stable, confident bond between you and your dog", with a lifetime guarantee advertised alongside the 10-plus years of experience. The stated aim is comprehensive training "that will last you the lifetime of your dog".

Who it suits

Owners in Blount and Knox County wanting a structured board and train or day training with a published rates page, and those wanting protection work from a trainer with a police K9 background.
