About Montybello Dog Training

Montybello Dog Training is a single-trainer, in-home operation in Virginia Beach, and its whole offer fits in one line: "Personalized In Home private or group dog training and pet sitting."

Who does the work

The site introduces one person and makes three claims about her: "Kensett Latimer is a Master Canine Trainer and Behavioral Specialist serving the needs of dog owners throughout the Virginia Beach area. She is Licensed and Insured and can take care of all your dog training needs from puppies to senior dogs."

Two of those are worth reading carefully. Licensed and insured is a business statement and a reasonable one. Master Canine Trainer and Behavioral Specialist are titles that several different schools and associations issue on different terms, so they are claims to ask about rather than independently verifiable credentials like CPDT-KA; ask which body awarded them.

Age range and format

The stated span is unusually wide – puppies through senior dogs – and both private and group formats are offered, in your home rather than at a facility. Pet sitting runs alongside the training, which is convenient if you want the same person who trained the dog looking after it.

Before you book
