About OJ K9 COACH

What they offer

OJ K9 Coach is a dog training business at a ranch on Sierra Highway in Agua Dulce. It offers programs in behavior modification, obedience, personal protection and competition dog sports, and says the trainer has been at it for over 30 years. Help is available in the client's home, on the training field, or by phone or video consultation.

Classes

Beginning and basic obedience classes build communication and control and lead toward AKC Canine Good Citizen testing. Advanced obedience works mostly off leash, with distance commands, stays under distraction and some agility. Weekend classes are held at the ranch and at a park in Los Angeles.

Sports and protection

The trainer has worked with titled dogs and handlers in sports including PSA, Schutzhund and Mondioring, and also teaches personal protection. The business runs boarding and training at the ranch and a rescue that rehabilitates and places dogs.
