About National Barks Pet Resort

National Barks Pet Resort is primarily a boarding and day-camp business, but it publishes training as a distinct service line delivered by a named training team, which is why it is listed here.

The training on offer

The published services list reads: Dog Boarding, Cat Boarding, Long-Term Boarding, Day Camp, Board & Train, Play & Train, Private Training and In-Home Training. Under a "Dog Training" heading the site states: "Training is conducted by the Pawsitively Trained LLC training team", and lists the credentials that team claims: ABC-DT, CPDT-KA, CTDI and Pet CPR / First Responder.

The stated approach

The resort's slogan is its method statement: "Paws for Pawsitivity! Bury the Brutality, Forget the Force." It expands on that directly – "We are on a mission to change the way dogs are trained and cared for. Our PAWsitive-based handling focuses on keeping your pets stress-free whether they are in training, boarding, or at day camp. We are a fear free facility and do not use any adverse handling techniques or equipment!"

Worth knowing

The credentials above are as claimed on the resort's own site and belong to the training team it contracts, not to the resort as a business – worth confirming with whoever will actually handle your dog. Pricing and cabin sizes are published on a dedicated services-and-pricing page, and registration runs through an online portal.
