About Natural State Dog Training

Meet Justin

Natural State Dog Training is based in North Little Rock and travels to Little Rock, Sherwood, Maumelle, Jacksonville, Conway, Cabot and nearby areas. Its trainer, Justin, spent ten years as a fly fishing and outdoor guide in Montana and worked with horses, experiences he credits with teaching him patience and the value of mutual trust. After moving back to his hometown in Arkansas and adopting a troubled Rottweiler named Simon, he began studying training techniques and attending canine behavior and training workshops across the country. He is a member of the IACP (International Association of Canine Professionals).

Services

The business offers in-home consultations, private lessons and board & train programs. It works on everyday problems such as leash pulling, jumping on guests, and barking at strangers or other dogs.

Philosophy

Justin believes that how you live with your dog is the most important training you will do, and that long-lasting results come from a healthy, trusting relationship. The business describes every interaction with your dog as training, good or bad, and aims to address behavior in a way that makes sense to the dog.
