About Telltail Dog Training
Meet Elizabeth
Telltail Dog Training is run by Elizabeth, a former journalist and marketer who began working with animals in 2012. She completed a dog training internship on a farm that primarily handled dogs with behavioral issues using positive reinforcement, and she became certified through the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers, passing the exam in October of 2020. She moved to Little Rock in 2018, volunteered with local rescues, and started Telltail because she saw a need for force-free, positive reinforcement training focused on communication.
Training options
Telltail offers group classes in a small group setting, in-home private lessons, and training walks. Programs are aimed at busy professionals and families, with evening and weekend group classes and in-home training. If Telltail is not the right fit, Elizabeth says she will help you find someone who is.
Beyond lessons
Elizabeth hosts the Telltail podcast, where she interviews trainers, behaviorists, pet professionals and owners about scientific findings and humane treatment. Clients describe her as approachable, and one wrote that training helped them finally communicate with their dog.
