Approach

The trainer writes: "I'm Ellen Burdell, a professional dog trainer specializing in fearful and reactive dogs. With a background in veterinary care and a passion for holistic, science-backed training, I help sensitive dogs and their humans find calm, confidence, and connection." On format: "Every dog I work with receives a custom plan. That means no rushed sessions, no corporate 'one-size-fits-all' scripts, and no harsh methods." The published position is that reactive dogs "need a different kind of support, one that addresses their emotions, biology, and individual needs, not just their behavior".
