All-breed training and German Shepherds in Chester

Olympia Kennels is an all-breed dog training center, daycare and German Shepherd breeder in Chester, serving the Manchester and Concord areas. It describes over 50 years of dog training and German Shepherd breeding, founded and led by trainer Mike Pinksten, and says its team has worked with over 25,000 dogs. The facility sits on 15 acres with indoor and outdoor training, climate-controlled boarding and dog daycare for all breeds. Olympia also runs a Professional Trainer's Course for people entering commercial dog training.

Training programs

The Standard Board & Train teaches heel, sit, down, stay, place, come, crate training and house manners over 2, 3 or 4 weeks, with one free lesson per week of stay. An Advanced Board & Train adds off-leash control over 3-4 additional weeks. The Behavior Modification program addresses separation anxiety, human or dog aggression, possessiveness and territoriality, with length set at evaluation. Small group classes cover puppy, standard and advanced obedience and IPO (Schutzhund), and five-lesson private courses are built around each dog. Home and personal protection training is offered for dogs of sound temperament after evaluation.
