Petco Dog Training in Helena holds classes at the Petco store at 3215 Dredge Dr, with training hours seven days a week.

Group classes

In-store group classes run 6 weeks of hour-long sessions alongside up to four other dogs, at $149 per course. Puppy (8 to 16 weeks) covers potty training, socialization and foundational cues like sit, down and come. Beginner (16 weeks to 6 months) adds loose-leash walking, leave it, wait, tricks and games. Fundamentals (6+ months) works on sit, down, come, leave it, wait and loose-leash walking, and on curbing jumping and barking. Advanced (6+ months) covers heel, recall with distractions and polite greetings.

Private lessons

Private sessions last 45 minutes with a certified trainer, flexible scheduling and a customized training plan. New customers can start with a $39 Private Lesson 101, and packages are $249 for 4 sessions or $329 for 6.
