In-store training in Waterford
Petco Dog Training in Waterford holds classes at the Petco store at 825 Hartford Rd. Training hours run 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday to Saturday and 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Sunday.
Group classes
Six-week group classes put a dog alongside up to four other dogs in hour-long sessions, at $149 per course. Puppy (8 to 16 weeks) covers potty training, socialization and foundational cues; Beginner (16 weeks to 6 months) adds loose-leash walking and "leave it"; Fundamentals (6+ months) works on core cues and curbing jumping and barking; and Advanced covers heel, recall with distractions and polite greetings.
Private lessons
Private sessions are 45 minutes with a certified trainer. New customers can book a $39 Private Lesson 101, and packages are $249 for 4 sessions or $329 for 6.
