About Pleasant Paws Pet Center

All pet services under one roof

Pleasant Paws Pet Center is a multi-service pet center at 94 S. Main Street in Newtown, open Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm and Saturday 8am to 1pm. It aims to be a single provider for a pet's needs, with dog daycare in an open-play environment, luxury dog boarding, cat and small pet boarding, veterinary services, physical rehabilitation, grooming and the Pawsh Pet Store.

Dog training

Pleasant Paws offers dog training that provides structured learning, obedience, behavior correction and socialization, aimed at happy, well-behaved pets. Because daycare, boarding and veterinary care sit in the same building, training can fit alongside a dog's other visits.

What to ask

Ask who leads training, which formats are offered (private sessions, classes or training during daycare or boarding), the methods used, and pricing.
