About Positive Pets Dog Training
Training for Treasure Valley dogs
Positive Pets Dog Training is a Boise dog training school that also serves Meridian. It says it has been serving Treasure Valley dog owners for over 28 years, counts 33,714 satisfied clients, and won Boise Weekly's Best of Boise in 2023. It also calls itself the official dog trainer for the Boise State Broncos. The team describes its approach as an "attention-reward-based communication system" and says it works with dogs of all ages and breeds, from puppies to seniors.
Programs
The Stay & Train program, called the Transformation Academy, has the dog train with a certified professional, then the owner learns to keep up the results through personalized "Leadership Transfer" private lessons. Day Train is built for busy owners: the dog spends one day a week at the training facility for 3 to 7 weeks and sleeps at home, while the owner joins private lessons to practice what the dog learned. There are also group classes, a puppy training class and named programs such as the Ultimate Dog, Active Dog and Well-Mannered Dog programs. A free consultation is the first step.
What owners say
One client wrote about his dog Murray: "Good habits grew, and the bad ones vanished."
