Purposeful K9 Training is a dog training business serving the DFW Metroplex, including Lewisville, Highland Village, Flower Mound and Denton. Owner and trainer Carrie Crawford has taught clients since 2012; she started as a trainer and district mentor with a national pet retailer, then shadowed professional trainers before starting her own business. She is an approved AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and a professional member of the International Association of Canine Professionals, and the business was voted Best 2020 Dog Trainer in Denton County.

Method

Carrie believes dogs need structure to know what is expected. Her tools include praise, affection, treats and toys as well as slip leads, head halters, martingales, command collars, prong collars and e-collars.

Programs

She offers puppy and adult dog board and train with ongoing help for life changes, in-home training, obedience training and Canine Good Citizen and AKC training. Consultations are free.
