About Rescue Dogs Training

What they offer

Rescue Dogs Training is located in the East Mountains, with an address in Sandia Park, and serves Albuquerque and much of New Mexico. Its view is never to give up on a dog: behavior training is more than obedience, and a calm dog is a happy, safe dog. A free phone consultation starts the process.

Programs

Private training rehabilitates behavior issues and can move to sessions in public after two sessions. A two-week board and train program works on aggression, fear, reactivity and over-excitement, with socialization skills, daily hikes and an individual plan. Boarding includes a daily hike, play time and boundary setting.

Service dogs

Private service dog training is relationship based: the trainer shows the owner how to continue task training and comes back to help when the dog struggles, following the service dog rules under the ADA.
