About

Revel Dogs offers "Family Dog Mediation and Dog Training in Lexington, KY." The stated purpose: "Revel Dogs is focused on helping you and your dog to co-write a life of engagement, enrichment, and fulfillment. We want to shift the narrative by changing the way people think about, live with, and experience their relationships with their best friends."

The trainer, **Chas**, introduces herself: "I am a certified Family Dog Mediator and certified Pet Dog Trainer. These are two things I never imagined I would be. Life sent me a difficult dog or two and I found myself traveling down wild and wondrous paths, figuratively and literally. Mostly, I'm a Dog Nerd."

Services

The site publishes three:

Intake begins with a scheduled consult.

The published method is a three-step frame: "1. Understand — We look at your dog, your household, your environment, and your goals. 2. Plan — You receive practical, individualized support rooted in enrichment, management, and skill building. 3. Practice — We work together to build realistic strategies for daily life."

What she works on

The site organizes problems as "chapters," covering puppy issues (nipping, crate training, house training); adolescent dogs (impulse control, leash pulling); introductions to new dogs, cats and human housemates; destructive chewing and digging; counter surfing; barking and lunging; difficult walks; and under-confident or socially avoidant dogs.

The stated emphasis is prevention first: "Our approach is designed to help prevent unwanted behaviors before they start."
