About Ridgeline K9 LLC
Family-run training and boarding
Ridgeline K9 is a family owned dog training company on High Pass Rd in Junction City, with boarding for training clients. Owner and trainer Katie established Ridgeline K9 after her dog Rika began protection work in 2018. Co-owner Justin is a certified PSA Decoy who volunteers with local police departments' K9s, and trainer Ani specializes in service dogs.
Programs and prices
Board and Train is the most popular option: dogs stay for structured daily training in foundation skills (sit, down, stay, heel, place, recall), behavior modification for fear and aggression, and off-leash training. It ends with a private handoff session and a follow-up a week later. Packages start at $2000 for puppies and $3000 for adult dogs. 1:1 coaching comes in 4-session packages: $375 for adults and $275 for puppies under 6 months. Aggression cases start with board and train. Service dog training and bite work are also offered, with an evaluation required.
Approach
Ridgeline aims to improve the dog-owner relationship through clear communication. The team describes using as much positive reinforcement as possible within a balanced, individualized approach.
What to ask
