About Ruff N Paws LLC

Training and care in Bohemia

Ruff N Paws is a family-owned pet care business in Bohemia offering dog training, dog walking and home-style boarding. Its founder is Jessica Liguori, described on the About page as "Founder & Head Pack Leader" with a lifelong commitment to animal welfare. Training services cover Nassau and Suffolk counties, with custom quotes for NYC and the boroughs.

Training

The site offers private, practical training for puppies and adult dogs, using positive reinforcement and "science-based methods" to build confidence and trust. A board and train program provides intensive daily training focused on recall, leash manners and focus around distractions. New clients send an inquiry, then have a consultation to choose the right mix of training, walking and boarding.

What owners say

One client writes that Jess "has a very gentle, yet effective positive reinforcement approach" and trained both their previous golden and their new puppy. Another reports "a huge improvement in behavior and confidence in a short amount of time."
