About Rusty Guns Kennel

Rusty Guns Kennel publishes a Lillington, NC 27546 address and a facility rather than a service menu: "Rusty Guns Kennel and Training Facility – 300 acres of mixed agricultural and wetlands exclusively designed to train versatile hunting dogs and sporting breeds."

The training

"RGK prides ourselves on providing a structured training program to get the best out of your hunting partner. We use modern training techniques with proven behavioral theory and conditioning to reach your goals." Training seminars are published as a separate line, and tailored upland and waterfowl hunts are offered during the season.

The breeding side

The kennel is also a breeder, and describes that work at length: "We pride ourselves with providing true German dogs that are dual registered and tested in both NADKC and NAVHDA. We have worked extensively to bring some of the best lines available from Germany and Europe in order to bring back the 'German' in the German Shorthaired Pointer … We exclusively breed for calmness and incredible natural ability GSPs."

Boarding

Published plainly and worth quoting because it sets expectations: "RGK offers boarding for sporting breeds when space is available. No formal training is conducted during boarding, but we do enforce proper obedience and behaviors along with exercise and interactive play."

Worth knowing

This is a specialist gun-dog operation, not a pet-manners trainer. Contact runs through the site; ask about prices when you get in touch.
