About Secret Lake Dog Training, LLC

About

Secret Lake Dog Training, LLC is Karen J. Moulton's private in-home dog training service in Avon, covering Avon, Simsbury, Farmington, Canton, Burlington, New Hartford, Harwinton and Granby in the Farmington Valley. Her specialty is working with families and their dogs.

Method

Karen describes her methods as kind, science-based and reward-based, using life rewards to teach dogs and their owners. One-on-one sessions cover basic manners and behavior problems and can take place at home or out in the real world, such as a park or on trails. She also guides families raising a puppy or settling a newly adopted dog.

Lost dog prevention

As Farmington Valley Lost Pet Prevention and Recovery, Karen volunteers to recover lost pets, and every training client receives her booklet Preventing Your Dog from Going Missing plus a free safety cord.
