<p>SideKick Dog Training sums up its approach in one line: "Better training through better relationships." <p>"Humane, Force-Free &amp; Reward-Based methods are the way to go. We do not condone or use methods that inflict physical or psychological pain on the learner (whether that is the dog or the human learner); instead, we use science-based, force-free, humane, and reward-based methods." The site makes a particular point of choice: giving a dog "a variety of safe choices" is presented as a way to improve quality of life and build mutual trust, not as letting dogs run wild.</p>

<h3>Credentials</h3>

<p>Two trainers are named on the site, Jenn and Leann. Jenn's original certification came through Animal Behavior College, with a second credential through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT) and a third as a certified behavior consultant. Leann is also described as a certified behavior consultant through the CCPDT. The site names Fear Free and the APDT among the bodies it points clients to when choosing any trainer.</p>
