Sit Now Stay Dog Training operates an 8,000 square foot training facility at 7860 Quivira Rd in Lenexa and says it has trained more than 2,500 dogs since 2014. Its programs include Day School, Boarding School, private lessons, puppy training, an in-home puppy preschool and therapy dog training.

Programs

Most owners start with the Complimentary Training Day, an evaluation at the facility that leads to a recommendation. Day School is structured day training: the dog trains with the team during the day and goes home at night. Boarding School is the board and train program, focused on obedience, leash manners, household skills and confidence. Private lessons are built into structured programs rather than sold as single sessions. The In-Home Puppy Preschool is a short program for puppies 8 to 24 weeks old covering potty and crate routines, biting and chewing, manners, early leash skills and socialization. Therapy dog training prepares calm, social dogs for visits to hospitals, schools and senior communities.
