About SixPaws Dog Training

What they offer

SixPaws Dog Training was opened in Ventura in 2015 by Veronique Pineau, who completed the Swiss Canine Association's ten-month dog trainer program, accredited by the Swiss Federal Veterinary Office, and is a professional member of the APDT.

Group classes

Basic Skills and Social Manners Level 1 teaches sit, down, stay, come, leave it and loose-leash walking over five weeks for dogs 18 weeks and older. Level 2 adds distractions, heel and place. A six-week therapy dog training class prepares dogs for the Therapy Dogs of America evaluation.

Private training

Veronique comes to the client's home for one-on-one sessions on basic skills and behavior issues such as barking, jumping, nipping, chewing, leash pulling, separation anxiety and resource guarding.
