About Steadfast K9 LLC

Services

Group classes run as "Novice Obedience (6 months+)" and "Puppy Obedience (Under 6 months)", with "Scent Detection/Tracking" offered at two levels. Alongside them are "Personalized Private Sessions – we come to your home, neighborhood, or go on field trips (pet friendly stores, parks, etc)" and a "Service Dog Training" block described as running "From puppy to Service Dog Certified graduation, we help in the puppy picking process, and the extensive training there after".

The scent work

This is a real specialty rather than a line item: the site describes "Scent Work/Tracking/Man-Trailing … getting your dog to understand how to track a specific odor", taught as its own levelled class series.

Who runs it

"Founder, Matt Jessie, has over 15 years of Dog Training experience with everything from basic manners/obedience training to behavioral, sport dog, and service dog training." That sentence describes his background; only the service dog program appears as its own priced service block, so nothing further has been assigned from it.

Where they work

"All Group Classes are held outside behind Yamasaki Academy MMA" at "1940 Daniel Stuart Sq. Woodbridge VA 22191", and are "subject to cancellation due to inclement weather". The contact page adds that the business serves all of Northern Virginia by appointment.
