Tally K9 Boarding and Training is a dog training business currently training in Tallahassee and serving Monticello and surrounding North Florida communities. Method

The business uses balanced methods tailored to each dog, and positive-reinforcement-only training is available on request. Methods, tools and safety considerations are discussed with the owner before work begins, and commands can be trained in any language.

Programs and pricing

Puppy training (typically 6-10 sessions) covers socialization, crate training, housebreaking and mouthing. Basic obedience covers heel, leash walking, leave it and no jumping, while advanced obedience adds off-leash work, distance recall and the place command. Behavior modification addresses reactivity, aggression, separation anxiety and fear. Published rates include a 10-session Puppy Starter Package for $750, a 10-session Basic/Advanced Obedience package for $750, a one-hour aggressive or major behavior session for $100 and a single session at the owner's home or in public for $90. Sessions at the Tally K9 location start at $70 per hour. Working dog and protection training is also offered, and a 3,500 sq. ft. boarding and training facility in Monticello is announced for Summer 2027.
