About Veronica’s Dog Training

What they offer

Veronica's Dog Training offers play and relationship-based training from Bridgton, aiming for a high level of training efficiently and without breaking a dog's spirit. The work ranges from getting highly prey-driven dogs reliable off leash to stopping aggression.

Private and virtual lessons

Every service starts with a free phone evaluation. Private lessons take place in the client's home or in public, each with a detailed write-up, and cover puppy raising, obedience, leash walking, off-leash reliability, handling and grooming cooperation, reactivity, resource guarding, fear and separation anxiety. Virtual lessons are offered too.

Board and train

Board and train dogs live in the trainer's home with her family, not a kennel, and get daily training, field trips, hikes and detailed updates; go-home lessons are required so owners can keep the results. Training can include e-collar recall, public manners, scent work foundations, Canine Good Citizen and therapy dog preparation and adventure skills such as canicross and bikejoring. In-home boarding is available as well, with priority for dogs that have trained with her.
