About Vorteil Kennel

Vorteil Kennel on Horse Heaven Road in East Nassau is an AKC German Shepherd breeder and boarding kennel that also publishes training, and the training pages are part of the site rather than an afterthought.

The training offer

Two pages carry it: a Training page and a Training and Classes page. The contact page states that prices for training are published on the training page, and that private lessons currently run on Saturdays. Owners inquiring about training are asked to describe the situation or issue and leave contact details for a call back.

The wider kennel

The business describes itself as breeding, boarding and training. The site catalogs its own dogs by name and pedigree – imported and titled German Shepherd lines – and runs a raw food co-op alongside the kennel. Puppy inquiries go through the same contact route as training.

What that means for an owner

Breeder-run training is a specific thing: it tends to be shaped by working-line German Shepherd handling rather than by the pet-dog class model, and the Saturday-only private lesson slot reflects a kennel whose main business is elsewhere in the week. If you have a working-breed puppy or a shepherd with handling problems, that background is the point. If you want an evening group class, ask first whether one is running.
