About West Columbia Barn Hunt

What they offer

West Columbia Barn Hunt, known as The Red Barn, teaches and hosts the dog sport of Barn Hunt. Its site offers appointments for lessons and lists upcoming trials.

Approach

The About page says its instructors and trial committee love Barn Hunt and want to share the sport in a way that is fun for both the dog and the dog's teammate – the human working with it. It describes the goal as learning to work together, having fun and building on the dog's natural instinct to hunt.

Background

The About page tells how The Red Barn came about, starting with a conversation with a friend, Nell Jenkins, while waiting for their turn at a trial.
