About Yates Family Labradors LLC
Services
The business is first a breeder – "Trusted American Labrador Retriever Breeders Since 2007" – and sells training beside the litters. The training page publishes "Yates Family Labradors Training Packages" and "Puppy Kindergarten for ages 8 weeks to 10 weeks", and describes the equipment used as "a leash with a training collar, or remote off-leash collar for communicating only and supported with positive praise for obedience".
Good to know
The puppy program is written around the program's own litters rather than as a general class, so owners bringing another breed or an older dog should ask what applies. The kennel states it raises "AKC-registered American Labrador Retrievers" that may go on as "loyal companions, hunting partners, or future service dogs".
Where they work
"Based in Arlington, Virginia, our family-run program" – puppies are raised in the family home rather than at a kennel facility.
