Overview
Top Hat and Tails Canine Training School has been independently owned and operated for over fifteen years and is located in Mishawaka, Indiana. It was founded by Antoinette Krafcheck, a lifelong dog owner and canine performance enthusiast who has owned, trained, and handled champion Bearded Collies for over 30 years and holds an MA degree in marriage and family therapy.
Method
The school describes a "PAWSitive" approach to dog training and states it is veterinarian recommended.
Services
Course offerings include agility, puppy socialization, basic manners and obedience, Rally, behavior problem solving, and Canine Good Citizen testing. Daytime, evening, and Saturday group, semi-private, and private classes and lessons are available, in addition to in-home training. "Little Rascals" and puppy socialization programs build basic skills, socialization, and confidence, including puppy agility.
What to Expect
Training takes place at a facility featuring a state-of-the-art training surface and competition-grade equipment. A private consultation session is required of all new students. Informal play sessions give dogs and owners a chance to socialize in a secure environment.
