How they train
The site states plainly that "shock collars are never an option." All trainers are Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partners (KPA-CTP) — one of the more rigorous reward-based credentials — and they consult Ohio State University veterinary behaviorists for complex cases, making this about as evidence-based as local dog training gets.
Programs
Board & Train (intensive positive-reinforcement, basics through reactivity and aggression), Home School (same, in your home environment), structured 5–6 week Group classes, and In-Home training where they coach the owner with weekly check-ins. It starts with a consultation to match the package to your involvement level. Based in Gahanna.

Our Aussie loved the puppy socialization class! The trainers are fantastic. They do an excellent job of making sure interactions are positive and fun in a controlled environment. Nova was a bit shy at first but they helped her gain confidence and now she loves other dogs and people. The puppy class was a perfect introduction to training and safe socialization. We felt good going into it knowing that they require proof of vaccinations. We are looking forward to starting the adolescent class!

Can’t say enough good things about this organization. Our high energy vizsla puppy is well socialized, kind, and has learned a number of new skills while partaking in the puppy and adolescent classes. The price for the puppy and adolescent classes is unbeatable for the level of safe dog to dog interaction they get over a five week period. Phil and Desiree (along with Miranda and Jo) explained techniques well, always accepted questions, and had alternative options if needed. They understood dog body language well and separated the dogs into social groups aligned to their play styles. Eva, Reale Training’s CSR, was communicative and prompt for all interactions. There were always plenty of trainers present during large classes to make sure the activities were monitored and the skills were accurately taught by owners. Not only do we get the value of our dog being well behaved, we also got to see other dogs grow up and learn, so we had fun too. We will be returning with our dog (and maybe our older one!) for continued home schooling. I have already been recommending Reale Dog to friends and will continue to do so!

Our Great Dane really benefited from the Puppy Socialization Class. Despite her size, she was very timid at first and was placed with the smaller dogs. The trainers helped her feel comfortable. Throughout the program, her confidence grew and she came of her shell. We are looking forward to the Adolescent Class to continue her training.

Reale puppy class was so good for our new English Golden Retriever Bogey. He’s always been very good with people and very smart but has trouble with other dogs. This was the perfect class for him. We will be doing the adolescent class!!

REALE dog training puppy socialization class was a definite win! Our dog Belle had the opportunity to interact with dogs of many breeds, sizes and personalities of dogs. She interacted with other people and all the trainers as well. The trainers are all awesome with the dogs and full of helpful information for the owners. Phil does a great job educating on topics essential for helping your puppy become a great dog; and you a great owner. He always takes and answers any questions that arise. It's a total win!
