About Canine Coaching Services LLC

Practical obedience and behavior help

Canine Coaching Services LLC, at 5070 Buckhorn Rd in Sanford, specializes in practical obedience and behavior solutions for real households. It blends positive-reinforcement techniques with coaching for the owners.

Services

Private individual sessions take place at the client's home with a custom training plan, a written booklet and usually two to three weeks of daily homework; the first session typically runs two hours. Vacation Training lets dogs stay with the trainer, usually for two to three weeks, to work through issues, after which the dog is delivered home with a transition session. Phone and video consultations are available for smaller questions.

The pack

The trainer's own five dogs and three cats are part of what the site calls 'pack immersion', and a resident cat helps dogs that need training around cats. Discounts are listed for official rescue groups.

What to ask

Ask how far the in-home sessions travel and whether a private session is recommended before Vacation Training.
