About Active Dogzz | Ventura Dog Training

What they offer

Active Dogzz trains dogs and owners in Ventura, Ojai, Camarillo, Carpinteria and Montecito, and also offers dog walking. Its philosophy starts from a strong relationship between dog and handler and an individualized approach for each dog.

Programs

Puppy training programs and foundational obedience use reward-based, force-free methods. General training and behavior modification programs may add fair, structured corrections for complex cases, always aiming for the least intrusive approach that works for the dog. Private programs start with an evaluation session at the client's home, can include in-home training several days a week, and take on leash reactivity, fear, fear-aggression and resource guarding.

Off-leash

For owners who want off-leash freedom on the coast and trails, specialized e-collar conditioning uses humane, low-level communication and responsible handling.
