About All Fur Paws, LLC

What it is

All Fur Paws, LLC serves "Central Wisconsin…. and beyond!" and bills itself as "Professional Positive Reinforcement Dog Training and Behavior Consulting," working to "Consistent Results Through Proven Training Techniques and Force-Free, Science-Based Methods."

Private lessons

"In-Your-Home Private Lessons focus on you and your dog. We meet at your convenience and can meet at your home, go for walks, visit a pet store, etc. We work on everything from basic/foundation skills to walking on leash and good manners." The site says "I work with all ages and breeds of dogs" and that three-lesson packages are recommended, with single lessons an option. For clients who cannot meet in person, "Virtual Lessons are available via Zoom or Microsoft Teams."

Behavior consulting

The site credits its trainer with "25+" years and "extensive experience working with dogs with behavioral issues," and describes "Behavior Improvement Plans" that "combine training, management, and scientifically proven techniques to help your dog adjust and make better decisions." It also states plainly: "There is no charge for initial phone conversations."

Therapy dogs, boarding and training

There is a page for owners "interested in becoming a therapy team with your dog," which quotes Intermountain Therapy Animals on what a therapy animal is. Boarding with training is offered at the trainer's own home, but only "for dogs under one (1) year of age." Separately, private lessons and individual walks can be added while a dog is boarding or in daycare at Boone's K9 Clubhouse.

Qualifications the site claims

Under "My Qualifications" the site lists: "Mentor Trainer for CATCH Canine Trainers Academy", "AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy and CGC Evaluator", "Positive Reinforcement, Force-free Trainer with hundreds of hours of experience", membership of "The Pet Professional Guild", and Dog Gone Safe "Be A Tree" Presenter. It also lists volunteer and board work with two rescues, former shelter management roles, service on the administrative rules committee for Act 90, the Wisconsin Dog Seller's Law, and a long published record of seminars attended.
