About Content Canine

What they offer

Content Canine is a pet-care business in Fort Collins, Colorado, run by twin sisters Rachel and Rebekah Rairdon, who say they have been working in the pet care industry for 5 years. Alongside dog walking, hiking, boarding and drop-in visits, it sells dog training: 1-to-1 private lessons in person or online, day training in or around your home, and board and train in their home. Lessons cover basic manners, calmness, confidence, loose leash walking, recall and impulse control. The site lists private lessons at "30 minute: $50 60 minute: $80" and a two-week board and train at $1750.

How they train

The site says Rachel is "a certified Pro Dog Trainer through AbsoluteDogs" and that her methods are "based in positive reinforcement and games-based training." Each first lesson comes with a personalized training plan that is updated in later lessons. Board and train work includes loose leash walking, place training, threshold training and calmness, and can be customized for needs such as crate training or car training.

Good to know

Rebekah focuses on walking, boarding and enrichment, while Rachel handles training. Training can also be added to a boarding stay.
