About Sit Means Sit Dog Training Fort Collins

What they offer

Sit Means Sit Dog Training Fort Collins is a Sit Means Sit franchise location at 1901 E Lincoln Ave in Fort Collins, serving Fort Collins, Loveland and the surrounding Northern Colorado area. It lists basic obedience, off-leash control, aggression, anxiety, boundaries and control of unwanted behaviors as its specialties. Programs include the Jumpstart Puppy Program (private lessons, day training sessions and go-home lessons for young puppies), day training where your dog trains during the day and you get a lesson at pick-up, and an immersion board and train of 5, 10 or 15 days. An Aggression Board & Train program moves in phases from a small, private setting up to off-leash control around distractions. Existing clients get monthly refresher lessons.

How they train

The site says its trainers use science-based methods and positive reinforcement, and describes Sit Means Sit as an attention-based obedience system that breaks training into small steps. Its puppy program includes a remote training collar. The site names Conner Willyard and Justin as the owners.

Good to know

It starts with a free consultation, and the site says each program is tailored to the dog, so ask about pricing then; financing is available. Board and train dogs are boarded at K9 Corral, the kennel the site names in its board and train package. For dogs with aggression issues, the site suggests coming to the consultation with the dog in a muzzle.
